FINALLY an update!!!

Hi to all! There's so much that's happened since the last time I was on here I don't know where to start. We're in the middle of birthday season here- Ashley turned 18 last month and Alex - my little boy who's 6'+ tall celebrated his 20th birthday. It's hard to believe he's that old 'cause I sure don't feel old enough to be his mom. And I'm sure most people would agree that I don't act old enough either! My motto is I may have to get older but I will never grow up! Life's too short to be serious all the time. Jessie will be 13 in a couple weeks and Kelsey is 7 1/2 now. Funny how we stop adding the 1/2's to our ages after we hit about 10 or so... We've been lucky enough to have Sharon and Daniel here to visit for a few weeks- it's always good to have a chance to catch up with family.
On a sadder note, we had to have Ashley's black lab CJ euthanized a couple weeks ago. She was doing well and suddenly her body started to shut down so an emergency vet appointment was made and we were able to say goodbye as she went to doggie heaven. It's the worst part of owning a pet but a small price to pay for the unconditional love and joy they bring to us.
Alex is planning taking his advanced open water scuba diving certification class this summer, Ashley is getting for graduation and higher education, Jessie joined forensics and is now in track and band , Kelsey is still in Brownies, junior choir, piano lessons and sunday school, and I'm still working and trying to keep life organized. Bob and I are giving our relationship the time and commitment and energy that is necessary to make it stronger and the priority it should be. \
