Finally an update

Hi to all!
I'm finally gettting an update done on here- it's about time. Life has been hectic lately- with school out it seems as if there is less structure to life. Trying to come up with ideas to keep all the kids occupied, keep track of their summer activities and trying to stay on top of life in general takes some adjustment. The heat and humidity make one less inclined to get things done as well.
Last month I took the girls to the county fair and we've been to the beach a couple times so far. They seem to enjoy trying to "borrow" floaty raft!! My biggest excitement lately has been this week of vacation time!!! On sunday we met family at Yellowstone Lake for lunch, boating, jet skiing and visiting. And more eating. Unfortunately on the way home a kid decided to run a stop sign and hit the back of my van. At first look it appeared that only the bumper molding was damaged, now it looks as if the back wheel and quater panel are damaged as well. The insurance company has been very helpful about getting repairs set up. I was very happy that no one was injured and the van is drivable. And that the kid admitted his brakes were shot and he didn't stop- makes the liability of the accident much easier to determine. On top of this when we finally made it home Sunday night Ashley had a little surprise for us- she found a kitten on the way home from work. It is a sweet little white/ orange girl/(not positive about that yet) who loves to be held and petted- she purrs like a little tractor! The humane societies are not accepting any cats right now and I couldn't dump her- we think she was dumped where she was found. She is so sweet but sooo skinny! We'll see how this works out. On Thursday we're going to the state fair- i haven't had a cream puff for years- I seem to have withdrawal every year at this time. The dad of 2 of the kids we watch works for US Cellular and he gave us tickets to the fair- saves $8/person. Christina is planning on joining us so that'll be fun!
Have a great day!!!!!
Linda
